Jedi Mind Tricks is one of the rawest groups in hip hop period. When Jedi Mind Tricks released Violent by Design I thought it was the most complete work I ever heard in hip-hop besides the classic Wu material. As a MC myself I always craved that hardcore, blood sipping stab you in the throat rap, and Jedi Mind Tricks delivered. I still think there best work was when Megatraum was in the group, the track I selected is “Muerte” cause the beat and lyrics combine into a blade ready to tear through ya muthafucking temple like phantasam!
