I will start by saying I like 808’s and Heartbreak, I think Kanye showed range as an artist and took a necessary risk. The album is a good change from the norm in hip hop today and for that credit is due. One of my favorite joints is “Welcome to the heartbreak”, such a vividly distinctive song of inner remorse one must reflect upon themselves. Kid Cudi provides a beautiful backdrop as Kanye bleeds electronically. As for the video I think it is nothing short of brilliant, get ya green Garcia and embrace.
