Lupe is one of those MC’s you can’t deny. In my opinion The Cool was an underrated album which delivered many memorable classics. The title song itself is one my favorites, Lupe tells the story of “cool” in the most poetic fashion possible over a beat that sounds as if it was to be the opening to a epic. i definately agree that his album was slept on heavily. dumb it down is also an excellent track lupe shows his love for the abstract and refuses to do whats “cool” by dumbing down…funny thing tho is that after pumping lupe i dumb it down wit some juicey j hahaaha
