“Major Lazer fought as a Jamaican commando who lost his arm in a secret zombie war in 1984. He fights vampires and various monsters, parties hard, and has a rocket powered skateboard.”
My homeboy over @ Sullivangelism put me on to Major Lazer a couple months back. Major Lazer (Diplo & Switch) are the same two DJ’s responsible for giving us M.I.A.’s Paper Planes a few years back, which was at the time the craziest record I’d heard in a long time. With that said you know this shit is going to be Hot. The duo linked up and dropped Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do earlier this summer. The album primarily a dancehall/house effort, has the duo linked up with Mr. Vegas, Ricky Blaze, Santigold, Nina Sky, Mr. Lexx, Vybz Kartel, Ms. Thing and T.O.K. (just to name a few) Peep the video below for Hold The Line featuring Mr. Lexx & Santigold.
